Let's chat about something that we all deal with, but nobody likes to talk about...hair loss.
It's true that at some point in your lifetime, the majority of us deal with hair loss.
Be it due to weight-loss, the postpartum period, stress, anxiety, or even a medical condition, chances are we know someone who has dealt or we ourselves have dealt with hair loss at some point in our lifetime.
So why does hair loss happen?
There are two reasons hair-loss happens; genetic or environmental.
Today we're going to focus on environmental causes of hair loss. Environmental causes could be stress levels, diet, lifestyle, hormones, etc.
Here's the deal, all of our hair needs protein and specific nutrients to grow. In fact the most common reasons for hair-loss are anemia, lacking in b-12 (basically any woman who has had a child or is pregnant), stress, dramatic weight loss and lacking in abundant protein (We're looking at you plant based diets).
Now we know a few reasons for hair loss, but what does this have to do with FOND?
