Ingredients
-
2 Tbsp butter or tallow
-
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
-
½ cup of beer
-
1 cup FOND's Lemon & Garlic Bone Broth
-
1½ tsp mustard
-
2 cups freshly-shredded cheese
-
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Directions
Make the roux! Melt the butter or tallow in a large saucepan or sauté pan over medium-high heat until melted. Add flour, and whisk until completely combined. Let cook for 1 - 2 minutes. You do not want this to get overly browned, since you want the end product to be a nice yellow color!
Add in the beer and bone broth and whisk until well combined and it thickens.
Next add in the mustard and cheese and whisk until smooth.
Salt to taste.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
