Ingredients
1 lb 85/15 Blend of Ground Beef
1 TB Taco Seasoning (I like Trader Joe’s, but you can use any kind!)
½ C Chopped Organic Onions
4 Organic Brown Button Mushrooms
¼ C Fond Bone Broth The Spur (can use Spring Clean if you prefer)
½ C Cherry Tomatoes, quartered
¼ C Chopped Green Onion
Crema and Cilantro for Garnish
Directions
Start by adding your ground beef to a cast iron pan. Using two forks, pull off chunks of the ground beef to make a “crumb” effect.
Once this is done, add the taco seasoning and the chopped mushrooms and onion.
After they cook for 3 minutes together, add the bone broth and stir occasionally until all the liquid has cooked out (and infused into your meat). This will imbue all the flavors of the poblano and Serrano in the bone broth into your ground beef.
Once the onions are translucent, remove from heat and stir in your cherry tomatoes and green onions.
Serve with sour cream or fresh crema and garnish with cilantro.
Serve with your favorite tortilla. We use Siete Almond Flour Tortillas.
