Bone Broth Sweet Potato Casserole

We are elevating this classic dish with bone broth, for rich flavor and sneaky nutrients 😉.
Ingredients

2 sweet potatoes, peeled and roasted, about 4 cups

1 egg

¼ cup FOND’s Turmeric & Black Pepper Bone Broth
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
2 Tbsp tallow, melted (we love our Turmeric & Black Pepper Tallow here!)

Salt to taste

Directions
Peel and cube the sweet potatoes, then add to a medium pot of water.
Bring to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and cool.
Mash the sweet potatoes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together the melted tallow, mashed sweet potatoes, bone broth, salt and eggs in a large bowl.
Transfer the mixture to an oven safe baking dish. Bake until mostly set in the center and golden on top, 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
