Garlic Mushroom Pork Chop Skillet is a quick dinner with a ton of flavor, thanks to FOND's Turmeric & Black Pepper Chicken Bone Broth for the added yum! This pork chop recipe features seared pork chops simmered in creamy garlic and mushroom sauce. An easy choice for any night of the week.
Ingredients
-
4-6oz bone-in pork chops
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
1 Tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
8oz baby bella mushrooms, sliced
-
¼ cup heavy cream
Directions
In a large heavy-bottomed skillet on medium-high heat, melt the butter. Season the pork chops on both sides very well with salt and pepper to taste. Place each pork chop down on the pan and cook for 4-6 minutes per side depending on how thick your chops are. We want them to be a nice golden brown color. Once this is achieved, remove your chops to a plate to rest.
Leaving the fat in the pan, add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Then add the mushrooms and bone broth. Cook this mixture until the broth has reduced by half. Reduce the heat to low. Add in the heavy cream and the pork chops to let the flavors all meld together for 5 minutes before serving!
To serve, place your pork chop on the plate first, and top with the mushroom gravy! This would go very well with a mixed green salad or mashed potatoes.
