Low Carb Mother’s BBQ Sauce

Ready to be the boss of the sauce? Our homemade BBQ sauce will take your backyard BBQ to the next level! Made with our Mother's Bone Broth, this BBQ sauce leans on the side of a vinegary Carolina BBQ sauce.

  • 6 Ounce Can of Tomato Paste
  • 1 Jar FOND Mother’s
  • ¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar Swerve
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper


In a medium-sized saucepan on low heat, combine all ingredients except salt & pepper. 

Bring the mixture to a simmer and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer gently for 15 minutes. 

Test the thickness of it using a wooden spoon, when you are able to run your finger through the sauce on the back of the spoon and the line stays, then the sauce is thick enough. Add the salt and pepper and taste for seasoning.

Use immediately, or allow it to cool completely, then pour into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
