Ingredients
-
1 cup water
-
2 lbs chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp pepper
-
8 ounces cream cheese
-
½ cup heavy cream
-
8 ounces crumbled blue cheese
-
1 cup hot sauce
-
1 bunch green onions, sliced
-
1 cup mozzarella cheese
-
1 cup cheddar cheese
Directions
In a large pot, place the chicken breasts, garlic powder, black pepper, water and bone broth in an even layer. Cover the pot, bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer to cook the chicken until it can be shredded, about 20 minutes. Shred the chicken, and place back into the liquid used to cook it.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
To the pot, add the cream cheese and hot sauce. Mix until well incorporated. Add the Blue cheese, Mozzarella & Cheddar cheeses, reserving some of both to the side. Add in the green onions, reserving some to the side for garnish.
Mix well, and place into a 9x13 baking dish (or similar sized) and top with the reserved cheeses. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Top with the reserved green onions and serve warm!
