Tuscan Sausage and Kale Soup

Soup for lunch, dinner, a snack, a family event, just about any occasion calls for soup and we are here for it!

This sausage and kale soup is perfect for the fall! It's light enough to not weigh you down and hearty enough to keep you full. And with our delicious Spring Clean, this soup is sure to be a hit in your home too.

The kale and Italian sausage combination is classic. Spring Clean carries the flavors of this soup perfectly, highlighting the delicious notes of garlic, earthy kale, and tangy Italian sausage. 

Spring Clean is fun, light and tangy. Infused with lemon, garlic, radish, and onion it makes the perfect base for a light yet nourishing soup. We call it our "anti-tonic", because of the ingredients we use providing anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties!

Creamy Sausage and Kale Soup 

Serves 6 | 545 Calories | 38.9g Fat | 32g Protein | 12.4g Carbs | 2g Fiber 

  • 1 Pound Ground Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 Medium Onion, large dice
  • 1 Large Carrot, large dice
  • 2 Stalks Celery, large dice
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 Jar FOND Spring Clean
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon dried thyme
  • 12 Ounces Kale, cleaned and chopped
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

In a large pot, on medium-high heat, break up the sausage while browning it. Once it is golden brown, add in the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add in the Spring Clean, heavy cream, and thyme. Bring everything up to a simmer and cover, reducing the heat to low to cook for 15 minutes. Add in the Kale, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Serve hot!
